The congregation behind Engraving Heavenly Truths — and the story of how we came to carry it forward.
Our Story
The Lord's church in Roanoke has recently acquired the publishing rights to the Engraving Heavenly Truths curriculum. After using this curriculum in our own Bible classes over the years, we saw the value it added to our congregation, and we wanted to share that with others.
Our congregation has been blessed with a large number of individuals and a pool of talents that lends itself well to continuing and expanding this work. It is our prayer that your congregation or family could learn and grow from this material as well.
Engraving Heavenly Truths is managed under the oversight of the Roanoke elders as part of our Bible class program, and is provided as an educational service to home schools, congregations, and individuals.
40+ years in circulation
Our History
The Engraving Heavenly Truths (EHT) material has been in use since 1976, when it was started by Henry and Lousie Dawson, and Dan Jenkins. Many faithful brethren have been instrumental in keeping it in circulation. We wish to recognize the efforts of Dennis and Brenda Woods and Phillip and Stephanie Patton — they have poured many hours into this wonderful work.
The Roanoke church of Christ took ownership of EHT in late 2021. The material is now under the oversight of this eldership as a work of the Roanoke congregation.
